So if you are a big fan of making very strong fashion statements and have some nerves of steel, why not complement that anatomy with this very unique collection from Wendy Stevens? The New York based designer wasn’t certainly thinking about the environment while pairing leather with galvanized steel to make these bags but we got to give it to her, it looks mean and sexy! The steel finish will complement just about any color that you feel like donning and don’t even get me started on how much are you going stand apart with this one slung on your shoulder or clutched in your hand. These bags have try me written all over them, priced between €312.00 and €960, it might look a little overpriced but for a good reason, eh?

A Chinese newspaper revealed that recycled condom hairbands are widely sold in different parts of China. Yes, you heard right! Condoms are recycled and used to make hairbands and then they are mainly distributed in local stores of main cities like Dongguan and Guangzhou cities of famous Guangdong province. These disgusting recycled condom hairbands are nothing less than a villain here, a wolf in sheep’s disguise. Chinese have given these hairbands a very attractive exterior with definitely threats inside. Even though recycled, these hairbands carry numerous bacteria and viruses infecting those who use it. Girls and children holding it between their lips while styling their hair were cautioned as they were unaware of such recycling. Hairbands made in this manner are sold in packets of 10 that cost less than $2AUD and may have already reached far away countries like Australia, Europe and US. This revelation is going to repel many consumers to plastic products marked as Made in China.

I could hardly believe that a tote bag could make me nostalgic but the Fred Cassette Tote took me back to those days when music meant a tidy music player that needed cassettes to play the songs. The old memory of those melodiously quaint cassettes has been reinvented by Fred in its tote bag made of lightweight plastic material. The handles of the bag, designed as the unwinding reel of tape, makes me remember those irritating moments when tapes would suddenly roll out of the cassette turning Mozart into Bon Jovi! CDs replace cassettes ages back, but if a $16 Fred cassette tote hanging on your shoulder brings back the past with style, why not try it?

Most of the skin care specialists use chemicals for the skin but now, something very unique and natural has come up on the beauty scene. The Body Deli is an absolutely organic skincare line that has opened up at Palm Desert, California. It uses natural ingredients composed of organic and fresh flora food extracts while the base of most of the products is Aloe Vera - which is the best source for any skin trouble. It is great to see that this unique store has been well supported by beautiful and gorgeous celebrities like Kate Hudson and Alicia Silverstone. Its unique range of Cucumber Juice Toner and Blueberry Facial Polish is already a rage among names to reckon with. The best thing about this practice is that whether you get a satisfying result or not you will never end up doing no harm to your skin as all the products are absolutely organic. This can very well be named an intensive organic skin care unit!
